I am Irene Rodriguez Manieri the owner/founder/operator behind Veg on Board. Veg on Board Charcuterie Boards & Event Catering combines art with food for all occasions.

My passions include cooking, baking, sewing, and drawing, all of which brings me joy and allows me to explore my creativity.

In 2017, when I transitioned to a vegan lifestyle it opened a new passion for me. It pushed me to creatively remake traditional cultural family dishes as well as explore alternative ingredients for cheese and other favorite foods. I enjoyed making charcuterie boards before I was vegan, and when they started to become very popular, I noticed it was lacking big time in the vegan department. I sought out high quality artisanal vegan cheeses which made all the difference. Being vegan does not mean not being able to enjoy a variety of delicious food. Beautiful charcuterie boards and Grazing Tables with premium ingredients is what I aimed to provide to my customers when Veg on Board was established in 2021. Charcuterie boards offer such a variety of flavors, textures, and visual appeal. They’re also versatile in being suitable for both large events as a Grazing Table to boards for small intimate gatherings.

As Veg on Board evolved, I expanded my offerings to include catering options such as party-size heroes, salads, wraps, Fruit/Vegetable Arrangements, additional items for Grazing Tables and Dessert boards.

Aside from dessert boards, I added in my love for baking and cake decorating as well. I love providing custom vegan cakes. It offers the ability for anyone who follows a vegan lifestyle or has dietary restrictions to have that special treat for their celebrations. My business is not only a niche, but set on inclusivity and can be enjoyed by anyone whether they're vegan or not.

I've catered for various celebrations from Weddings, Bridal Showers, Birthdays, Baby Showers, Anniversaries. and more. It warms my heart and I am honored that I get to be a small part of so many memories and beautiful celebrations. Food serves as my artistic medium, and the ability to blend food and art for such meaningful occasions is what truly sets Veg on Board apart.
